Our luxurious rang of Ladies Retro Step Through Bicycles require minimal assembly. All bikes come with an Owners Manual, which explains assembly, further instructions for preparation for riding and bicycle maintenance. Below is a picture of the pre-assembled bicycle as it comes in the packaging.

The bicycles come partly assembled, with the rear wheel and gears pre-assembled. Assembly requires inserting front wheel into forks, inserting handlebars, inserting and tightening pedals and seat mount, tightening breaks and attaching bell and reflectors. 

Tools required:
-Spanner set with metric measurements from 7mm to 17mm
-Philips head screwdriver
-Flat head screwdriver
-Allen key set
-Air pump, hand or foot for tyre inflation.
-Torque wrench to ensure correct torque as specified in maintenance section of this manual.

Assembly steps are as follows:
1. Remove bicycle and all components from box and lay on a soft surface (old carpet or on top of cardboard box).
​2. Attach front wheel into forks. Ensure brake is on front side of forks as shown.

3. Insert handlebars and using allen key tighten head set and handle bars firmly. Observe minimum insertion lines on headset.

4. Attach front mud guard to front wheel as shown below, fit front reflector at the same time.

5. Firmly attach seat post to seat, ensure seat clamp completely grips post. Insert seat into frame, use the quick release bolt to tighten seat into frame.

6. Attach rear rack at the provided four points.
7. Fit reflectors and bell.
8. Install pedals. Tighten two small nuts on each pedal. WARNING: Your bicycle comes with a left and right side pedal. Only fit the correct pedal to the correct side as shown.

9. Tighten crank bolts left and right. (Behind plastic cover)
10. Attach front basket.
11. Adjust brakes to ensure correct operation. Front brake may need adjustment. If one side is rubbing on the wheel, tighten the small gold screw on this side and loosen on other side.
12. If required, adjust gears on rear derailleur to ensure smooth gear changes and correct readout on gear indicator. Use a screwdriver to adjust screws that limit travel of chain at top and bottom of rear sprocket. Use a spanner to adjust gear cable, minor adjustments may be necessary to ensure correct grip shift readout corresponds to correct gear.
13. Inflate tyres to rating recommended on tyre wall.
14. Have bicycle thoroughly checked by professional bicycle mechanic before riding.
